The SEO 9-layer quality framework

Every page passes through nine ranking layers before it ships. Each layer is a gate — a draft that fails one is revised, not published.

  1. 01
Search intent matchThe page answers exactly what the query wants — informational, commercial, or navigational.
  2. 02
Topical depthCovers the subtopics and entities that rank competing pages.
  3. 03
Structure & headingsClean H2/H3 hierarchy that's scannable for readers and parsers.
  4. 04
OriginalityUnique angle, examples, and data — not a rephrase of page one.
  5. 05
Internal linkingLinked into the cluster so authority flows to and from it.
  6. 06
ReadabilityPlain, confident prose at the right reading level.
  7. 07
Technical hygieneMeta, canonical, alt text, and fast Core Web Vitals.
  8. 08
FreshnessUpdated as facts, rankings, and the SERP shift.
  9. 09
E-E-A-T signalsSourced claims, author context, and trust markers.

The GEO / AEO checklist

Ranking is only half the job. To be quoted by answer engines, content has to be machine-readable and quotable. Every page is structured for it:

  • ✓llms.txt so assistants know what's safe and relevant to cite.
  • ✓FAQ schema on every page that answers real questions.
  • ✓Short, citable definitions — a 1-2 sentence summary an engine can lift cleanly.
  • ✓Entity clarity so models map your brand to the right topics.

The fact-checking & ready-to-publish bar

Nothing publishes that we wouldn't put our own name on. Each draft has its claims verified against sources, its citations checked, and its tone matched to your brand. Anything uncertain is flagged for review — we never ship unreviewed AI mass content.

Our red line: a page either clears the bar or it doesn't ship. There's no “publish and hope” setting.

How results are measured

We connect directly to Google Search Console and GA4 and read your real numbers. Rankings, clicks, and conversions are attributed per page. AI citations are tracked by monitoring whether assistants reference your pages for relevant queries. We never fabricate or estimate these figures — if it isn't in your own analytics, we don't claim it.

Methodology FAQ

Do you use AI to write the content?+

Yes, with guardrails. AI drafts, but every page passes the 9-layer framework and fact-checking bar before it ships. We optimize for ranking and citation, not raw volume.

How do you know if AI cited my site?+

We run your tracked queries through major assistants and detect when your pages appear as sources, then chart that over time.

Can I see the raw GSC data?+

Always. Reports link straight to your Search Console and GA4 properties so you can verify every figure yourself.
