Otterly.ai is where a lot of teams start, because it has the lowest published entry price in the category. Alternatives get shopped for two reasons: the add-ons that sit on top of that headline, or the realisation that monitoring tells you where you stand without telling you what to change. One disclosure up front — TriRank is our product, labelled here so you can discount it accordingly. Every competitor figure below was read from the vendor's own pages and carries the date it was read, the same evidence rule as our Profound alternatives roundup.
What Otterly.ai actually publishes
Read in a browser on August 29, 2026 at otterly.ai/pricing, its plan matrix was:
- Lite — $29/month, 15 search prompts, daily tracking (otterly.ai/pricing, August 29, 2026).
- Standard — $189/month, 100 prompts, with API and MCP access from this tier up (otterly.ai/pricing, August 29, 2026).
- Premium — $489/month, 400 prompts, with 15% off across the range on annual billing (otterly.ai/pricing, August 29, 2026).
- Enterprise — "Custom … Starting from $1,000/month," the only unpriced tier in this roundup that still names a floor (otterly.ai/pricing, August 29, 2026).
Included engines were ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, with Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode sold as add-ons; extra prompt packs were $99/month per 100 (otterly.ai/pricing, August 29, 2026). Otterly also links a free AI Crawler Simulation tool from that page, which is a genuinely useful thing to have on the free side.
One caveat about that date, and it is ours rather than theirs. On August 31, 2026 the page did not come back to us: a plain request returned a challenge response instead of the pricing page (otterly.ai/pricing). We do not drive automated clients through human-verification gates, so the figures above are the August 29 reading and have not been re-checked since.

Peec AI — analytics, if you can get the number
Peec calls itself AI search analytics for marketing teams. Read on August 31, 2026 at peec.ai/pricing, its matrix names Starter with 50 prompts, Pro with 150, Advanced with 350 plus multi-country and a Looker Studio integration, and Enterprise as "Custom" with API access, single sign-on and up to 11 LLM models tracked. Every paid tier reads "choose 3 models." What the page we can fetch does not contain is the prices themselves; our last browser reading of them was Starter $95/month, Pro $245/month, Advanced $495/month on July 20, 2026, and we flag that as the older figure rather than restating it as today's. Its careers page says the company raised $29m from investors including 20VC and Singular (peec.ai/careers, read August 31, 2026).
AthenaHQ — more expensive, and it acts as well as watches
Read on August 31, 2026 at athenahq.ai/plans: a Free plan carrying $25 of credit and 300 credits; Starter at $295/month with $300/month of free credit, 3,600 credits and visibility across 10 models, API access and extra credits sold as add-ons; and Enterprise on "Custom," which is where SAML and OIDC single sign-on and the BI-tool dashboard sit. Annual billing is badged at 17% off and the unit is stated plainly: one credit is one AI response. That is roughly ten times Otterly's entry price, and the thing you are buying for it is content action rather than only measurement — so it is the right comparison only if execution is in scope.
TriRank — the rankings and citations join (that's us)
We answer a narrower question than Otterly does: not only whether AI engines mention you, but which of the pages you already rank for in Google are being ignored by them. Published pricing is Starter $49/month, Pro $149/month and Agency $399/month on our own pricing page. Live today: a free diagnostic that runs without an account, a library of free tools, a Chrome extension whose source is public at github.com/supersky0820/trirank-extension, and a methodology write-up. What we do not have: a public REST API, single sign-on or security-attestation claims, daily rather than weekly sweeps, or publishing beyond WordPress.
When Otterly.ai is still the right call
If the job is daily prompt tracking on the smallest possible budget, nothing here undercuts Lite at $29/month (otterly.ai/pricing, August 29, 2026), and saying otherwise would be an argument against the evidence. Its free crawler tool is also a real answer to a question most paid dashboards charge for. The case for looking elsewhere is not that Otterly is expensive — it is that the headline is a floor, and prompt packs and engine add-ons are how a $29 line becomes a different number. Before you shop, run the free diagnostic on your own domain, then compare at TriRank vs Otterly.ai.
FAQ
How much does Otterly.ai cost? Read in a browser on August 29, 2026, otterly.ai/pricing published Lite at $29/month for 15 search prompts, Standard at $189/month for 100 prompts and Premium at $489/month for 400 prompts, with 15% off annually, plus an Enterprise tier quoted as Custom but starting from $1,000/month. Add-ons sit on top: extra prompt packs at $99/month per 100, and Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode as paid extras.
What is the cheapest Otterly.ai alternative? Nothing in this roundup publishes a lower monthly entry price than Otterly's own Lite plan at $29/month. TriRank's Starter is $49/month, Peec AI's last browser-read entry price was $95/month, AthenaHQ publishes Starter at $295/month (athenahq.ai/plans, August 31, 2026), and Profound publishes Starter at $99/month. If price is the only axis, the honest answer is that Otterly is the floor and the question is what you give up above it.
Which Otterly.ai alternative shows AI citations against my Google rankings? That join is what TriRank is built around: the pages you already rank for in Google, set beside whether AI engines cite them. Otterly, Peec AI and Profound all monitor AI answers; on the pricing pages we read, none of them lists Google Search Console as an integration. That is a fact about the pages we read, not a claim about what any vendor can build.
